Prominent dancer Kurosawa Mika joins us in this project, CARAVAN, to question the meanings of “market”, “merchandise”, “money” and “other/audience” through the actions and words of two female peddlers. Engaged in the simple, repetitive actions of putting things out to sell, the unique corporeality of the two performers, Ando Yoko and Kurosawa Mika, elicit market communication where commodity exchanges with others unfold incessantly.
